GDPR - Privacy Policy Posted or Updated on 20 Oct 2023

Dear Patient,

Data protection is changing and on 25 May 2018 existing laws will change to be replaced by General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

I’m getting in touch to let you know that we’ve updated our privacy notice which sets out how we will protect the data we hold about you. Below is a link to our updated privacy notice. While our privacy notice is quite long, it is an important document as it sets out how we keep your data safe. Data is another name for the information we hold about you.

In order for us to provide you services related to your health we need to collect some personal information. How we collect, use, manage and store your data is set out in our privacy notice.

We take the issue of your privacy extremely seriously so please be assured that your data is safe with us. Our privacy notice sets out a number of promises we have made to you in relation to your data.

The law gives you a number of rights so you can control what personal data is used by us and how we use it. A full list of your rights is also included in our privacy notice.

We don’t want to be intrusive and don’t want to ask you irrelevant or unnecessary questions but we may need to contact you from time to time to make sure the data we have is still correct.
