Comments & Complaints

We are proud of the service we provide and strive to make the best use of the available resources, but are always pleased to receive your comments.

If you have any complaint about any aspect of the service, we provide at the surgery please contact the Practice Manger, Kerry Jones, in the first instance to discuss, who is responsible for dealing with these matters. You can email ashingdon.prescriptions@nhs.net.

We operate a Practice complaints procedure as part of an NHS system for dealing with complaints. Our complaints system meets national criteria.

If you are dissatisfied with the response received from the provider, you are able to request they provide you with further information and response. 

You also have the right to approach the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman to review your case. The Ombudsman is independent of government and the NHS, and the service is confidential and free. The Ombudsman carries out investigations into complaints about unfair or improper actions or poor service by the NHS. You can contact the Ombudsman on their helpline on 0345 015 4033 or you can complete their online form at www.ombudsman.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
